Modern Day Church Poem
The Modern Day Churches leave much to be desired, certainly in the Heart of God. Modern Christendom is rapidly growing (Christless Christianity).
We are living in the time Now where The Lord says in Scripture "Come out from among them and I Will Be a FATHER To You".
You don't have to take my word for this, you only have to look all around you, to see it's so true - a perfect reflection of the Church of Laodicea
with it's Worldliness and spiritual Lethargy.

Modern Day Church
The Modern Day Church has everything except for LOVE
and the Sweet Precious Presence of the DOVE.
They have fancy buildings instead of steeples
plenty of room to fit the people.
Programs and more when you step through the door.
Plenty of sermons and music artists
but there's so many things I miss.
Where I went years ago was like a Family
and no domination, it felt so Free.
No celebrity preachers and modern day leaches.
They had their eyes on JESUS
who Came to Free us!
They set an Example, that's something missing.
There's sweet reminiscing
when I think of those days, there's not much that remains.
So if you would be in Jesus WISE
don't be given to fads and lies.
Look back and forwards, avoid those doors
of the Modern Day Church
lessons to be learned.
They don't set people Free
No, bondage is all you see.
Enslaved to sin rather than worship Him.
They're after money, no longer hearts Sunny.
The people are always hungry for more
something they don't find within those doors.
But they don't have a clue what it is
a lot their church leaders have missed.
Hearts that always Worship Him
will see the folly and the sin.
They will not embrace things that offend
but Jesus of Galillee, the Friend of Friends.
Those things will always leave you empty inside
Live wholly for Jesus and in Him ABIDE.

Yes! 21 To the one who is Victorious, I will give the right to sit with Me on My Throne NIV If not, you won’t share Heaven with Me.
